Milwaukee Terminal

From downtown Milwaukee

• Get on I-794 East going south toward the Port of Milwaukee
• This will take you on the freeway over the Hoan Bridge for about two miles
• Take Exit 3 toward the Port of Milwaukee
• At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Carferry Drive
• Carferry Drive bends to the left
• Turn left onto S. Lincoln Memorial Drive
• You will see the entrance for Lake Express a few seconds later
• The entrance is on your right (the lake side), across the street from the tan-colored Port of Milwaukee building

From the North (Green Bay)

• Take I-43 south through the Marquette Interchange and downtown Milwaukee
• Proceed southbound past downtown Milwaukee for approximately 2 miles
• Exit the highway at the Becher Street - Lincoln Ave off ramp
• Turn left at the stoplights at the bottom of the ramp onto Becher Street heading east
• Proceed for 1/2 mile eastbound on Becher Street
• Cross Kinnickinnic Avenue and continue eastbound. Becher Street changes name to Bay Street at this point
• After 1/2 mile on Bay Street, bear right at the stoplight and turn onto the raised roadway marked I-794 West. Look for directional signs labeled "Carferry" at this point
• When the street ends at the lake, turn right on Lincoln Memorial Drive
• After heading south for 100 feet, your will see the Lake Express terminal entrance to your left
• Turn left into the main drive and proceed to the terminal

From the South (Chicago)

• Go north on I-43 North/I-94 West toward downtown Milwaukee
• Exit the highway at the Becher Street - Mitchell Street off ramp
• Turn right at the stoplights at the bottom of the ramp onto Becher Street heading east
• Proceed for 1/2 mile eastbound on Becher Street
• Cross Kinnickinnic Avenue and continue eastbound. Becher Street changes name to Bay Street at this point
• After 1/2 mile on Bay Street, bear right at the stoplight and turn onto the raised roadway marked I-794 West. Look for directional signs labeled "Carferry" at this point
• When the street ends at the lake, turn right on Lincoln Memorial Drive
• After heading south for 100 feet, your will see the Lake Express terminal entrance to your left
• Turn left into the main drive and proceed to the terminal

From the West (Madison)

• Take I-94 East into downtown Milwaukee
• At the Marquette Interchange, keep going east by getting on I-794 East toward the Lakefront
• After half a mile, stay on I-794 as it turns right toward the Port of Milwaukee
• This will take you on the freeway over the Hoan Bridge for about two miles
• Take Exit 3 toward the Port of Milwaukee
• At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Carferry Drive
• Carferry Drive bends to the left
• Turn left onto S. Lincoln Memorial Drive
• You will see the entrance for Lake Express a few seconds later
• The entrance is on your right (the lake side), across the street from the tan-colored Port of Milwaukee building

Muskegon Terminal

Just off Business Rt. 31 and only minutes from downtown Muskegon, the Lake Express Terminal, located at the Great Lakes Marina, 1920 Lakeshore Drive, boasts easy connections to Interstates 96 and 31 and Interstate 131 via Rt. 46. These major highway connections link Muskegon to Grand Rapids, Holland, Detroit, Mackinac Island and the entire Western Michigan shoreline.

Muskegon Terminal Driving Directions

From The North:
Take 31 South to Laketon Ave. West; follow Laketon Ave. all the way to Lakeshore Drive.  Lake Express is on the right, just over the river.  (On 31, there are signs that say Car Ferry before the Laketon exits, on Lakeshore Drive, there are signs that say Lake Express Ferry all along the road.  There is a large entrance sign on Lakeshore Drive that says Cross Lake Ferry.  Note: Laketon Avenue turns into Lakeshore Drive on the curve.

From The South:
Take 31 North to Laketon Avenue West follow Laketon Ave. all the way to Lakeshore Drive.  Lake Express is on the right, just over the river.  (On 31, there are signs that say Car Ferry before the Laketon exits, on Lakeshore Drive, there are signs that say Lake Express Ferry all along the road.  There is a large entrance sign on Lakeshore Drive that says Cross Lake Ferry.  Note: Laketon Avenue turns into Lakeshore Drive on the curve.

From Grand Rapids:

If by chance passengers take Business 31/Seaway Drive, they go to Laketon Ave and do a Michigan left, which will take them West into Lakeshore Drive.
