Lake Express would like to congratulate Laura Valaas, who took second place at the Junior/U23 Nordic World Championship Cross-Country in Tarvisio, Italy on March 13. Laura’s Silver Medal marks the best North American female result in the history of the Junior/U23 Nordic World Championship Cross-Country.

Laura is a member of the Central Cross Country Ski Association (CXC Skiing) for which Lake Express is the title sponsor. CXC Skiing is recognized by the United States Ski and Snowboard Association as the sole Regional Organization governing cross country skiing in the 10 state Central Region of the United States. The organization enables athletes, coaches, and officials to achieve excellence in cross country skiing through education, cooperation, communication and competition.
