Monday, June 16, 2008

The Lake Express celebrated its fifth birthday in early June with ceremonies held in both Milwaukee, WI and Muskegon, MI. Both ceremonies were held to commemorate the 5th year of sailings by the high speed ferry between the port cities of Milwaukee and Muskegon, MI.
The Milwaukee ceremony included speaches by Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker and Lake Express President Ken Szallai. In Muskegon, Szallai was joined by Muskegon Mayor Steve Warmington, Muskegon County Commissioner Bob Scolnik in a presentation after the Lake Express arrived for it's mid-day turn.
